Peacefully, in the care of Moss Park Care Home, Fort William, on Friday 31st January 2025, James McManus Feggans (Jim), aged 89 years, formerly of Sutherland Avenue, Fort William (retired Divisional Officer of Social Work - Lochaber). Beloved husband of the late Jenny Feggans, a much loved dad, grandpa and great grandpa, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and friend. Sadly missed.

Sadly and suddenly in the excellent and compassionate care of the Belford Hospital after a lengthy stay in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, in the early hours of Friday 17th January 2025. Archibald Donald Young (Archie), aged 66 years, Belhaven Drive, Fort William. Beloved son of the late Archie and Ina Young, a much loved brother to Charles and the late James and Irene, also a much loved brother-in-law, Uncle, great uncle and cousin, a very good neighbour and friend. Sadly missed.

Very sadly and suddenly at home, under the wonderful care of the local district nurses and Macmillan Nurses after a relatively short but serious illness on Wednesday 22nd January 2025, Irene Elizabeth MacInnes (née Young), west Laroch, Ballachulish. Adored wife of Dougie and step-mother to Craig, Neil and the late Gary, beloved daughter of the late Archie and Ina Young, a much loved sister to Charles and the late James and Archie, also a much loved sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and a good friend to many, especially her great friend and neighbour Shelley MacColl. Very sorely missed.

Sadly, but peacefully, in the compassionate care of Moss Park Care Home, Caol, Fort William, on Friday 17th January 2025, Donald Joesph Gillies (Knockie), aged 75 years, formerly Birch Road, Caol, Fort William. Beloved husband of the late Rose Mary Gillies, a much loved dad to Mark and father-in-law to Edyta, a cherished grandpa to Sadie, a dearly loved uncle, relative and a very good friend to many. Sadly missed.

Peacefully, in the loving care of Abbeyfield care Home, Ballachulish, on Saturday 18th January 2025, Ian Alexander MacKintosh (Tosh), former proprietor of Corpach Hotel, Fort William. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, a loving dad to Alexander and George and father-in-law to Marta and Lorna, a treasured grandpa to Kyle and Lily, a much loved brother and uncle, a dear relative and a good friend to many. Peacefully, in the care of CAU, Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Monday 13th January 2025, Michael Albert Palmer (Mick), aged 77 years, Kennedy Court, Caol, Fort William. A loving husband to Isabel, a treasured dad to Carol and Michael, a loving granda to Ben, Karina and James, a much loved relative, and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Peacefully following a short illness, in the loving care of Invernevis House, Fort William, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday 12th January 2025, Thomas Michael Brown MacKenna (Tommy), aged 90 years, Belhaven Drive, Fort William. A loving husband to Mary (May), a treasured dad to Michael, Theresa, Ronald, Alexander, Catherine-Ann, Fiona and Martin and father-in-law to Eileen, Alex, Alla, Chris, Dale and Christine, a wonderful granda to Nicola, Ryan and the late Alex, Danielle, Matthew, Grant, Conor, Kiah, Haydn, Lauryn, Miley, Nathan, a proud great granda to all his great grandchildren, a caring brother, a much loved uncle, relative and a good friend to many. Beloved wife of the late Eddie, a loving mum to Christopher and Jonathan, a cherished sister to Mike, Patricia, Kate, Charlie and the late Rosie and Bernadette, a dearly loved relative and friend. A cherished sister of David, Janet and the late Archie, a much loved sister-in-law to Jessie and the late Christopher, a treasured auntie to David, Gary and Kirsty, a dearly loved relative and friend. Beloved wife of the late Alex, a cherished mum to Marie, Aileen, Heather, Alison and Colin and mother-in-law to Iain, William and Scott, a wonderful nana to James, Gemma, Eily, Ryan and Seona a caring sister to David, Fiona and the late Margaret, a much loved auntie, relative, neighbour and friend. A beloved husband to the late Eleanor, a loving dad to Catherine, Alison, Jimmy and Forbes, father in law to David, Duncan, Yvonne and Donna, a treasured grandad to Ronnie, Stacey, Jamie, Scott, Marc and Dylan, a proud great grandad to Ronnie, Reuben, Aaron, Coby, Ella, Lacey and Riley, a caring brother to Mamie and Cathie, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Sadly, but very peacefully, on Christmas Day, in the love and care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, Albert Black (Bert), aged 82 years, Lochy Road, Inverlochy, Fort William. A loving partner to the late Evelyn Groundwater, a much loved step-father to Dawn, step-grandfather to Iain and Lynsey, step-great grandfather to Leah, Leeigh, Jack and Lennie, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and a very good friend to many. Forever loved and remembered.

Sadly, in the comfort and care of Invernevis House, Fort William, on Sunday 29th December 2024, Jean Curran, aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Derek, a cherished mum to Terry and mother-in-law to Joan, a wonderful gran to Catriona and Martin, a proud GG to Harvey and Jacob, a dear sister to the late Mary, Willie, Isa and Elsie, a loving auntie who was greatly loved by all her nieces and nephews, a much loved relative and a good friend. Forever in our hearts.

After a long and fearless battle, Janet Macdonald (Janet Mutch) passed away peacefully on Thursday, 19th December 2024 in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. A devoted nurse, Janet travelled the world caring for others before returning to set up home in her beloved Kinlochleven. Janet was a loving wife to Donald, an incredible mum to Julia and Sandy, a wonderful granny to Isla, a caring sister to Robert and a cherished mother-in-law to Neill and Nadia. She will be fondly remembered by the many friends and family whose lives she brightened with her positive outlook.

Peacefully, in the compassionate and loving care of Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Thursday 26th December 2024, Isobel Lucia MacDonald (née Kennedy), aged 93 years (formerly of Wades Road, Kinlochleven). Beloved wife of the late Ian MacDonald, a loving mother to the late Ian, a cherished granny to Lewis, a dear aunt to Diane, Vicki and Derek, a much loved cousin, relative, neighbour and friend. Sadly missed.

Suddenly, but peacefully, in the care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Friday 20th December 2024, Margaret Haining, aged 95 years, Kilmallie Road, Caol, Fort William. A loving auntie to Janice, Roberta, Margaret, Anne, Marlene, John, Hugh and Robert, a cherished great auntie to Karen, Lynne, Michelle, Alena and Claire, a proud great great auntie to Kale, Danna, Jay, Leo and Ella, a much loved sister, a dear relative, friend and neighbour. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly at home in County Durham, on Thursday 5th December 2024, David King (Davy), aged 56 years, formerly of Henderson Row, Fort William. A loving son to Victor and the late Margaret, a much loved dad to Michael and Garry, former husband of Rosemary (née Cameron), a dearly loved nephew, cousin, relative and a good friend to many. Sadly missed.
