Sadly, but peacefully in the excellent care of Invernevis House (Palliative Care Unit), Fort William, on Thursday 22nd October 2026, Alan Brown, aged 78 years, Lochaber Road, Fort William. A wonderful dad to Allan and Sandra and father-in-law to Lynn and Fraser, a much loved grandad/papa to Liam, Riley, Tommy, Kian, Lewis and Estelle, a dear brother, much loved relative, neighbour and a good friend to so many, especially his long standing friend Hughie Cameron. Always loved and fondly remembered.

Sadly, but peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday 15th October 2026, Barbara Guy, aged 77 years, Alt Na Caimbe, Arisaig. A devoted wife to the late Willie, a much loved mum to David and Gillian, a caring mother in law to Paula and Gareth, a treasured gran to Anna, Richard, Andrew, Connor and Jacob, a cherished sister to Ann and Robert, a wonderful friend and neighbour. Sadly Missed.

Sadly, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday 10th October 2026, Michael John Nicoll, aged 85 years, Abrach Road, Inverlochy, Fort William. Sadly, following a short illness, in the care of Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Thursday 24th September 2026, Margaret Mary Watt, aged 71 years, Upper Inverroy, Roy Bridge. Sadly, at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, after having been lovingly cared for at Darnley Court Nursing Home, Glasgow for almost 2 years, on Friday 18th September 2026, Alastair Alexander MacKenzie, aged 79 years, North Ballachulish. A loving husband to Monika, dad to Fiona, the late Sharon, Mhairi and Morven, grandfather, brother, relative and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Sadly, on Saturday 29th August 2026, Steven Smith, aged 65 years, Drumfada Terrace, Corpach, Fort William. A much loved dad of Andrew, Daniela, Shaun, Steve and Leslie, a long term partner to Yvonne, a dearly loved relative and friend. Always loved and remembered.

A beloved wife of the late Donald MacDonald (Donnie Barra), a treasured mum to Maria and mother-in-law to Noel, a wonderful granny to Erin, Orla and Danny, a dearly loved relative and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Following a brave and determined fight against cancer, suddenly but, peacefully in the care of the Beatson Cancer Centre, with his family by his side, on Tuesday 8th September, Alan James Mackay, aged 54 years. A loving husband to Catherine, a much loved dad to Jamie and Shana, father in law to Mhairi and Chris, and a devoted Papa to Arron, Aoife, Ellie and Archie. A long serving and dedicated employee of RJ McLeod, and a much loved relative and friend to many. His kindness, loyalty and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Sadly, in the great care of the staff at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Wednesday 26th August 2026, Donald Kennedy aged 72. A devoted husband to Maggie, adored dad to Cowan, Oran and Lora; much loved father-in-law to Kara, Fiona and Derek, a treasured grandpa to Freya, Arthur, Euan, Mollie and Maisie, cherished brother to Jean and great friend to so many. Dedicated environmentalist and advanced craftsman, Loved and remembered always.
