Sadly, but peacefully, in the care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Monday 12th May 2025, Martine Denise Cooper, aged 64 years, born in France in 1960 and worked as a Cow Herder in Switzerland in the 1970’s (the only female to work alone with livestock in the mountains at that time) before moving to settle in Duror where she maintained mountain footpaths including Ben Nevis. A loving wife to Allan, a treasured mum to Tammy, a much loved sister and aunt, a dearly loved relative and a good friend who was loved by many. Sadly missed.

Sadly, but Peacefully in the care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Monday 12th May 2025, Christina Campbell (Chrissie), aged 89 years, Alma Road, Fort William. A devoted wife to the late Eddie, adoring mum to June, Kenny, Graham (Sam), Christine, Helen and Edward, and mother-in-law to Donnie, John, Lynn and Kerry, a treasured granny to Alexander, Richard, Steve, Samantha, Graham, Euan, Evie, Katie, Hanna, Ryan, Reiss and Cruiz, a proud GG to all her great grandchildren, a caring sister to Nancy and the late Peggy, Elma, Dickie, Ali and Willie, a dearly loved relative and a good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

Peacefully at home, with her daughters by her side, on Tuesday 21st May 2025, Janet Stewart MacPherson, known to all as Jenny, aged 94 years, Shielfoot, Acharacle. A beloved wife to the late Allan, a loving mum to Mairi and Seonaid and mother-in-law and Tony and Joe, a treasured granny to Craig, Kirsten, Karen and Hazel, a proud a GG to Harris, Seonaidh, Murdo and Maili, a dear relative, neighbour and a good friend. Sadly missed.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday 19th May 2025, Neil "Neillie" Stewart, aged 78 years, Garry Crescent, Invergarry. A beloved husband of Rhoda, loving dad to Ann, father-in- law to Andy, and treasured Seanair to Neil John. A much loved brother to Bell & Ronald, cherished uncle, dear relative, neighbour and very good friend to many. So greatly loved and remembered.

Peacefully, in the care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Tuesday 13th May 2025, Thomas Falconer (Tommy), aged 96 years, Erracht Terrace, Caol, Fort William. A keen fisherman right up to his late 80’s. A devoted husband to the late Betty, a wonderful dad to Christine, Carol and Brian, a loving grandfather to Paul, Luke, Emma, Daniel and Michaela, father-in-law to Bruce, Mary and the late Mark, a dearly loved relative and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly at home, on Friday 2nd May 2025, Lorraine Lawrence (Laney), aged 53 years, Ben View, Blar Mhor, Fort William. A beloved wife to John, a loving daughter to Sandy and the late Janet and daughter-in-law to Ann, a caring sister to Scott and Kieran, a dear auntie to Andrew, Ayona, Jessie and Charlotte, a much loved cousin, relative, neighbour and a good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

Sadly, but very peacefully, in the compassionate care of Craigbank Care Home, Glasgow, on Wednesday 9th April 2025, Edwin Frank Rose (Eddie), aged 80 years, Glasgow (formerly of Sanna Bay, Kilchoan). A loving and much loved relative and a very good friend to many. Sadly missed.

Suddenly, but peacefully, in the exceptional care of ICU – Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, surrounded by his ever-loving family, on Thursday 8th May 2025, Andrew Donaldson (Andy), aged 62 years, Strone Place, Caol, Fort William (owner of A&A Taxi’s). A loving partner to Heather, a treasured dad to Andrew, Keiran, Lindsay and Melissa and step-dad to Kaitlinn and Grace, a wonderful ‘grampy’ to Hannah, Andrew, Tyler, Darcy, Damian, Kloe, Jax and Emily, son of the late James and Maisie Donaldson, a dear brother to James, Eddie, Peter, Brian and the late Linda, a much loved brother-in-law, uncle and cousin and a very good and loyal friend to so many. Forever loved and remembered.

Peacefully, in the loving care of Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Thursday 1st May 2025, Marie Hendry (née MacGillivray), aged 93 years, Alma Road, Fort William (formerly of Inverlochy). A loving mum to Liz, Alistair, Marie and the late Malcolm and mother-in-law to Dave and Blair, a wonderful granny to Malcolm, Eileen, Angelina, Colin, Stephen, Ross, Kerri, Stephen, Sarah and Julia, a proud GG so loved by all her great grandchildren, a caring sister to Jean and the late Fachie, Betty, Alistair, Archie, Meena and Donnie, a dearly loved relative and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, on Thursday 10th April 2025, Steven Kenneth Campbell, aged 47 years, Wades Road, Kinlochleven. A loving husband to Emma, a treasured dad to Danielle and Sarah and father-n-law to Rory, a cherished son to Kenny and the late Susan, a caring brother to Neil, a much loved son-in-law to Monica Hunter a dearly loved nephew, cousin, relative and a very good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

A loving husband to Suzanne, a treasured dad to Rebekah, Codi and Trisha and father-in-law to Tony, Jordan and Ryan, a wonderful papa to Jay, Jax, Meelie and Lottie, a dear son to Ian and the late Maureen, a caring brother to Marg and Sean, a much loved relative and a very good friend to many.
