Sadly, in the loving care of Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Monday 7th September 2026, David Munro, aged 67 Years. Loving dad to Cruiz and Jennifer, a caring brother to Jackie, brother in law to Mick, much loved uncle to Sophie and a good friend to many. Sadly missed.

Peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Friday 4th September 2026, Olga Nycz Shirley, 67 Years young, Lower Inverroy, Roy Bridge. Beloved wife to John, a loving mum to Gavin and James, a wonderful Granny Oggy to Alasdair and Hamish, a fun aunty, nature enthusiast and caring relative, neighbour and friend. Always loved and remembered.

Following a brave and determined fight against cancer, suddenly but, peacefully in the care of the Beatson Cancer Centre, with his family by his side, on Tuesday 8th September, Alan James Mackay, aged 54 years. A loving husband to Catherine, a much loved dad to Jamie and Shana, father in law to Mhairi and Chris, and a devoted Papa to Arron, Aoife, Ellie and Archie. A long serving and dedicated employee of RJ McLeod, and a much loved relative and friend to many. His kindness, loyalty and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Sadly, in the great care of the staff at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Wednesday 26th August 2026, Donald Kennedy aged 72. A devoted husband to Maggie, adored dad to Cowan, Oran and Lora; much loved father-in-law to Kara, Fiona and Derek, a treasured grandpa to Freya, Arthur, Euan, Mollie and Maisie, cherished brother to Jean and great friend to so many. Dedicated environmentalist and advanced craftsman, Loved and remembered always.

Sadly, in the loving care of Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Wednesday 26th August 2026, Beryl Jean Batey, aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Alan, a cherished mum to Janice and Jeannie and mother-in-law to Danny and John, a treasured gran/grandma to Paul, Simon, Phil and Leigh, a wonderful great grandma to Ben and Abby, a proud great great grandma to Jamie, a dear sister in law to Edna and a much loved relative. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, on Thursday 27th August 2026, Neil Thomson, aged 72 years. A loving husband of the late Kathleen, a treasured dad to Kathleen and Eilidh, a wonderful papa and great papa to his many grandchildren, a dear brother to John, Doreen and the late Charlie, a much loved uncle, relative and a good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

Eric passed away in his new home in Fort Augustus with his loving wife Seonaid by his side, aged 68 years. He will return to Eigg the Island that shaped so much of his life, where for many years he worked alongside his late wife Rachel who was GP for the small Isles. Eric was a loving husband and a good, kind, loyal friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Suddenly and unexpectedly at home, on Thursday 13th August 2026, Hugh James MacDougall, aged 72 years, Smiddy House, Arisaig. A loving husband to Muriel, a much loved dad to Fraser and Lindsay and father-in-law to Michael, a treasured grandpa to Greg, Archie, Ailsa, Effie, Anna and Steven, a much loved relative and friend to many. Loved and remembered always.

Sadly, in the great care of all staff at the Queen Elisabeth Hospital, Glasgow, on Wednesday 12th August 2026, Donald Macdonald, aged 86 years. A devoted husband to the late Janet, loving dad to Julia and Sandy, father-in-law to Neill and Nadia, a caring grandpa to Isla, brother to Christine and the late Taylor, a much-loved friend and neighbour. Sadly missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, at home on Monday 10th August 2026, Robina Ingram, aged 73 years. A loving wife to Allan, wonderful mum to Allan, Lee, Ashton and the late Ashley, a wonderful granny to Theo, a dear sister to Peter, a much loved relative and a good friend to many. Sadly, but peacefully, in the exceptional care of The Mackintosh Centre, Mallaig, on Saturday 8th August 2026, Shona Johnston, aged 72 years. A loving sister to Katrina, Andrew and the late Islay and Shelagh, a caring aunt and great aunt, a much loved relative and good friend to many. Sadly missed.

Suddenly at home, following a long illness, on Sunday 2nd August 2026, Lawrence Ryan, aged 82 years, Glendessary Street, Caol, Fort William. A loving wife of the late James Kay MacKay, a treasured mum to David and Sarah and mother-in-law to Olly, a wonderful granny to Lucy and Jack, a caring sister to Mally and the late Gordon, a dearly loved relative and a great friend to many. A devoted husband to Kennethina (Thina), a loving dad to Donald and father-in-law to Henny, a dearly loved relative and a good friend. Sadly missed.

A loving wife to Alisdair (Ali), a much loved mum to Gordon and Ross, a treasured granny to her grandchildren, a dearly loved relative and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Peacefully, at Belford Hospital, Fort William, with his family by his side, on Friday 31st July 2026, Kenneth John Beckett (Kenny), aged 75 years, Nevis Road, Inverlochy, Fort William. A loving dad to Craig, Linzi and Amie and father-in-law to Jason, a proud ‘Papa Ken’ to Damon, Zak and Ava, a dear brother and uncle, relative, a good neighbour and friend to many. RIP.
