Suddenly and unexpectedly at home, on Friday 17th July 2026, David Duncan Shearer, aged 27 years, Lundavra Road, Fort William. A loving son of the late Nan MacDonald (Boomer) and David (Shiek) Shearer, a treasured little brother to Tracy, John, Iain and Joanne, a fun loving uncle to Taylor, Kodi, Kaylah, Erin, Quinn and Hunter, a much loved nephew and cousin, a dearly loved relative and friend. Always loved and remembered.

Sadly, but peacefully, in the loving care of Invernevis House, Fort William, on Thursday 23rd July 2026, Vytis Baltrunas, aged 71 years, a well respected tradesman throughout Lochaber. A much loved dad to Linzi, Kerry, Vytis and Stefan, a loving grandfather to all his grandchildren, a dearly loved brother, uncle and father-in-law and a very good friend to many. RIP. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Gently passed away, in the love and care of Moss Park Care Home, Fort William, on Sunday 19th July 2026, Margaret Gordon Grant (Mags), aged 77 years, Wades Road, Kinlochleven. A beloved wife to Douglas, a loving mum to Billy, Angela and Douglas, a much loved relative and good friend to many.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of her extended family at Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Saturday 4th July 2026, Mary Evelyn Cooper, known to all as Evelyn, aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Larry, much loved mum of Dave, Andy, Julia, Chris and the late Anne, cherished mother-in-law of Kathy, Karin, Nick and Kathy, and a proud and devoted nanna to her 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. A dear sister of Irene and the late Ron, a much loved relative, a kind neighbour and a good friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A loving wife of the late Mitch, a treasured mum to Lynne and Johnny, a wonderful granny to Savannah, Lochlan and Skye, a cherished sister to Ally, Ian, Michael and the late Donnie, Gordon, Charlie and Ronnie, a dear aunt, a kind neighbour and a much loved friend to so many. Forever in our hearts.

A loving husband to Meg, a treasured dad to Carol-Anne and father-in-law to Scott, a wonderful grandad to Connor and Carley, a dear brother, brother-in-law and Uncle, a much loved relative and a good friend to many. So greatly loved and missed.

A devoted wife to Alistair, a loving mum to Alex, Catherine, Margaret, John, Anne, Angus, Alister Neil, Colin and Jessica, a dear mother-in-law, a treasured granny and great granny to her many grandchildren, a cherished sister to Margaret and the late John, Angus, Donnie, Anne, Calum and Morag, a much loved relative, neighbour and friend. A beloved husband of the late Susan, a treasured dad to Barbara, Bud, Elaine and Lisa and father-in-law to Russell, Joanne, Neil and Andrew, a wonderful papa to Lauren, Eilidh, Thomas, Kyle, Katie, Erin, Jason, Josh, Alfie, Rhys, Joey, Zara, Roxi, Charly and Michael, an adored ‘papa baloo’ to Lilly, Archie and Rory, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle, a much loved relative and a very good friend to many.
