Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday 13th April 2025, Ronald Duncan Emslie Young, aged 84 years, Buckstone Gardens, Fairmilehead, Edinburgh (former proprietor of the Onich Hotel), one of the original founders of Lochaber Rugby Club, Fort William. A beloved husband to Helen, a much loved dad to Alan, Barry and their families, a loving grandpa, a dearly loved relative and a good friend. Sadly missed.

Tragically, following a mountaineering accident in Glen Nevis, on Wednesday 9th April 2025, Steven William Pollok, aged 37 years, Stirling Place, Fort William (former Electrical Engineer at Alvance – British Aluminum). A loving husband to Sarah, a treasured dad to Millie and Hamish, a cherished son to Stuart and the late Christine, a caring brother to Andrew and Yvonne and brother-in-law to Lisa, Dionne and Paul, a much loved uncle, a dear relative and a very good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

Peacefully, in the care of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, on Saturday 5th April 2025, William Sutherland McMinn (Billy), aged 70 years, East Bay, Mallaig. Beloved husband of Myra, a treasured dad to David, Kevin and Naomi, a loving son of the late Rosie and David, a wonderful grandad to Aaliyah, Max, Elyssa and Chloe, a caring brother to Bertie and dearly loved relative and a good friend to many. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, in A&E, Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Friday 4th April 2025, Steven Gillies, aged 52 years, Kilmallie Road, Caol, Fort William. A loving son of the late Archie and Janet Gillies, a much loved brother of Donald John and the late Archie and brother-in-law to Maggie and Eilidh, a treasured uncle to Dean, Megan, Fern, Alisha and Archie and great uncle to Natalie, Alanna, Lucas and Lilyana, a dearly loved relative and a good friend, also a best friend and companion to his beloved dog Jock. RIP. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Peacefully, in the compassionate care of Culduthel Care Home, Inverness, on Thursday 20th March 2025, Derina Joan Chisholm, aged 68 years, Westercraigs, Inverness (formerly of Ballachulish). A dearly loved relative and friend. Rest In Peace.

A devoted wife to Ken, a loving mum to David and the late Peter, a treasured gran Emma, Duncan, Ewan and Erin, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and friend. Sadly missed.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Baby Aidan Michael Donnelly, who was Born Sleeping at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Sunday 23rd March 2025. So greatly loved by his mum and dad Emma and Aidan and his big sister Kia. Forever in our hearts.
