Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Wednesday 11th February 2026, Jessie Mackay (Janet), aged 91 Years, Lochiel Road, Inverlochy. A devoted wife to Ken, a loving mum to Kenneth, a wonderful granny to Janet, Kiera and Libi, a much loved aunt, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and a very good friend many. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly but peacefully at home, on Saturday 24th January 2026, Lydia Ann Walker Carson MacLeod, aged 88 years, Rob Roy Road, Kinlochleven. A loving mum to Iain, Mairi, Lorna and the late Jamie, a wonderful granny to 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, a dear sister to Doris, a much loved relative and a good friend to many. So greatly loved and missed.

Davie, passed away on the 13th February 2026, at Raigmore Hospital shortly and suddenly after being diagnosed with cancer. Dad to Sìne, Caitlin and Innes and wee brother to Ali, as well as a friend to many. Lots of him will live on - his love of Scotland, history, politics, football, and his very varied taste in music. He loved his family deeply, cherished his friends, and was at his happiest in the west coast Highlands of Scotland, especially in his role as Lighthouse Keeper at Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. His spirit lives on and his family will continue to do everything they can to make him proud. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages and support.

Peacefully, at home in Inverness, with his daughter and son by his side, on Sunday 8th February 2026, William Kyle Cairns (Billy), aged 84 years, Holm Park, Inverness (formerly of Wades Road, Inverlochy). A loving husband to the late Margo, much loved dad to Alison and Ross, and father-in-law to Stewart and Joanna. A treasured and proud grandad to Craig, Lucas, Ruth, Anna, and Freya, dearly loved brother to George and Jim, brother-in-law to Sandra and Elizabeth, and a good friend and neighbour to many. Loved and remembered always, now reunited with his beloved wife, Margo. Rest in Peace.

Suddenly, but peacefully, in the care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Wednesday 4th February 2026, Roderick MacDonald MacInnes (Roddy), aged 56 years, Bail Ur, North Ballachulish. A treasured dad to Becki, a loving son of the late Peggy and John MacInnes, a much loved brother to Iain, Angus and Donald, a fun loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews, lovingly remembered by Julie Stewart, a dearly loved relative and a very good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday 31st January 2026, Ronald Kenneth Armson, known to all as Ken, aged 81 years, Lorne Drive, Glencoe. A loving partner to Cathy, a much loved step-dad to Catherine, Mark and Gavin, a treasured grandad to all his grandchildren, a cherished relative and friend. Always loved and remembered.

Sadly, but peacefully passed away following a short illness, in the loving care of CAU - Belford Hospital, Alexander John Grant, known to all as Sandy, aged 78 years, Renfrew Place, Fort William (former Scottish Water employee and Special Constable for over 32 years). A devoted husband to Lillian, a treasured dad to Karen, Steven and Andrew and father-in-law to Murdo and Kirsten, a wonderful grampa to Siobhan, Jamie, Sarah and Alastair, a proud great grampa to Brodie and Odhran, a dear brother to Iain and Margaret, a much loved relative and a very good friend to so many. So greatly loved and missed. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Peacefully at home, in Inverness, surrounded by the love of her family, on Sunday 8th February 2026, Mary Kathleen Gall, aged 97 years, Dunachton Road, Inverness (formerly of Keppoch Terrace, Roy Bridge). A loving wife to the late Victor, a much loved mum to Donald, Richard, Alasdair, Ann, Kristeen and Sheena, a wonderful ‘Granny Glasses’ to all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, a dearly loved relative and friend. RIP. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen. Reception of the body will take place at St. Margaret’s RC Church, Roy Bridge, on Friday 13th February at 4pm. All welcome.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, at home in Blackpool, on Thursday 15th January 2026, Alasdair Stephen Charles Martin, aged 55 years, late of Blackpool (formerly of Fort William). A loving partner to Karen, a cherished son to Jane and the late Alastair, a dear brother to Simon, Joanne, Fiona, Kerry and Niall, a much loved uncle and great uncle, a devoted lover of animals who gave so much care and kindness to those in need, a dearly loved relative and a good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

Suddenly but peacefully, at home, on Saturday 31st January 2026, Kathleen Ross (Kate), aged 82 years, of West Tirindrish, Spean Bridge. Much loved and devoted wife of Walter, a loving mum to Fulton and Alan, and a wonderful granny to Finlay, Isla, Hannah, Brodie and Olly. A dearly loved relative and a good friend to many. A well-known and much respected retired teacher, with long service in languages. Sadly missed.
