Sadly, in the loving care of Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Monday 7th September 2026, David Munro, aged 67 Years. Loving dad to Cruiz and Jennifer, a caring brother to Jackie, brother in law to Mick, much loved uncle to Sophie and a good friend to many. Sadly missed.

Peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Friday 4th September 2026, Olga Nycz Shirley, 67 Years young, Lower Inverroy, Roy Bridge. Beloved wife to John, a loving mum to Gavin and James, a wonderful Granny Oggy to Alasdair and Hamish, a fun aunty, nature enthusiast and caring relative, neighbour and friend. Always loved and remembered.

Following a brave and determined fight against cancer, suddenly but, peacefully in the care of the Beatson Cancer Centre, with his family by his side, on Tuesday 8th September, Alan James Mackay, aged 54 years. A loving husband to Catherine, a much loved dad to Jamie and Shana, father in law to Mhairi and Chris, and a devoted Papa to Arron, Aoife, Ellie and Archie. A long serving and dedicated employee of RJ McLeod, and a much loved relative and friend to many. His kindness, loyalty and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Sadly, in the great care of the staff at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Wednesday 26th August 2026, Donald Kennedy aged 72. A devoted husband to Maggie, adored dad to Cowan, Oran and Lora; much loved father-in-law to Kara, Fiona and Derek, a treasured grandpa to Freya, Arthur, Euan, Mollie and Maisie, cherished brother to Jean and great friend to so many. Dedicated environmentalist and advanced craftsman, Loved and remembered always.

Sadly, in the loving care of Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Wednesday 26th August 2026, Beryl Jean Batey, aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Alan, a cherished mum to Janice and Jeannie and mother-in-law to Danny and John, a treasured gran/grandma to Paul, Simon, Phil and Leigh, a wonderful great grandma to Ben and Abby, a proud great great grandma to Jamie, a dear sister in law to Edna and a much loved relative. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, on Thursday 27th August 2026, Neil Thomson, aged 72 years. A loving husband of the late Kathleen, a treasured dad to Kathleen and Eilidh, a wonderful papa and great papa to his many grandchildren, a dear brother to John, Doreen and the late Charlie, a much loved uncle, relative and a good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

Eric passed away in his new home in Fort Augustus with his loving wife Seonaid by his side, aged 68 years. He will return to Eigg the Island that shaped so much of his life, where for many years he worked alongside his late wife Rachel who was GP for the small Isles. Eric was a loving husband and a good, kind, loyal friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.
