Sadly, passed away in the Belford Hospital, Fort William, after an extended period of time in the compassionate care of the Mackintosh Centre in Mallaig on Saturday 13th June 2026, Christina MacDonald (Chris the bar), aged 85 years, Loch Nevis Crescent, Mallaig. A Loving partner to John, a treasured mum to Joan, Allan, Ronnie and the late Kojak, a wonderful sweetie gran and great gran, a loving sister, relative and a good and very dear friend to many. Greatly missed.

Peacefully in the loving care of the C.A.U, Belford Hospital, Fort William on Wednesday 17th June 2026, Morag Morrison, aged 82 years, Mallaig. A loving sister to Andrew and the late Donald - Ewen, Malcolm - John, Mary and Patrick, a much-loved auntie to her many nieces and nephews, a caring neighbour and a treasured friend to so many. Rest in Peace.

Peacefully passed away in the compassionate care of Abbeyfield Care Home, Ballachulish, on Tuesday 9th June 2026, Hugh Cameron, aged 71 years, a treasured brother to Andy and the late Iain, a much-loved brother-in-law to Jessie and Anne, an adored uncle to Morven, a good neighbour and friend to so many. Sadly Missed.

Sadly, in the care of CAU - Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Monday 25th May 2026, Jessie Henderson BEM (née Kennedy), aged 83 years, Braeside, Fort William, formerly of Nevis Road, Inverlochy. Beloved wife of the late Bobby Henderson and John MacDonald (“Stornoway Jock”), much loved mum of Allan, Neil, and the late Donald and John, and a dear mother-in-law to Vicky, Jackie, and Karma. A treasured granny and great-granny to all her grandchildren, a dearly loved sister and sister-in-law, loved greatly by all her extended family and many friends. Always loved and remembered.

Sadly, but peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Sunday 24th May 2026, John Hendry Fraser, aged 75 years, Morrison Avenue, Spean Bridge. A loving husband to Alison, a treasured dad to Trisha, Iain, Barbara and Ricky, a much loved step-dad to Dean, a wonderful grandad and great grampa John to all his grandchildren, a caring brother and brother-in-law, a dearly loved relative and a very good friend to so many. Forever in our hearts.

Suddenly but peacefully, with his loving family by his side, in the care of CAU – Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Tuesday 19th May 2026, Malcolm Bannatyne MacAskill (Mel), aged 74 years, Albert Road, Ballachulish. A devoted husband to Diana, a treasured dad to Gwen and Lorna and father-in-law to Jim, a loving grandad to Dylan, a dear brother, a much loved uncle and relative and a very good friend to many. So greatly loved and remembered.

Sadly, but peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday 22nd May 2026, John Dougald Cameron Kennedy, aged 80 years, Glen Nevis, Fort William. A beloved husband to Ruth, a loving dad to Frank, Cameron, John and Aileen, a treasured grandad to John, Jake, Cameron, Ryan, Josh, Lauren and Kirsty, a proud great grandad to Zander, a dear brother of May and the late Ernie, a much loved relative and a loyal friend to many. He has laid down the working tools of life and travelled to the Grand Lodge Above.
