A devoted wife of the late Hugh Muir, a loving mum to Donald, Alastair and Sheila, a wonderful grandmother to Rhia, Ben, Kirsty, Jay and Isla, a dearly loved relative and a good friend to many.

Sadly, but peacefully at home, on Saturday 14th March 2026, Stephen Harvey (Steve), aged 68 years. A loving dad to David and Peter and father-in-law to Ashleigh, a dearly loved brother, a much loved neighbour and friend. Sadly missed.

Brother-in-law to Alister and Rietta, a dearly loved Godfather to Caroline, a treasured uncle, a good neighbour, a loyal and true friend to many, and lifelong supporter of Hibernian Football Club. A devoted husband to Sheryl, a treasured dad to Patrick and Amy, father in-law to Emma, Grampa to Niamh and son of Gertie and the late George. Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord.

Peacefully, in the excellent care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Wednesday 4th March 2026, Mary Ann Chisholm Smith, known to all as Moira, aged 83 years, Lochyside, Fort William. A loving mum to Caroline, Elaine, Colin and Fiona and mother-in-law to John, Eric, Jillian and Barry, a wonderful gran/nan to Lynn, Alan, Neil, Lousie, Jamie, Sammy-Joe, Frazer, Kyle and Mia, a proud great granny to all her great grandchildren, a cherished sister to Shona, Kenny and the late Doug and Colin, a much loved aunt, neighbour and friend. Always loved and remembered.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Kai Alexander Mathieson, aged 16 years, on Saturday 21st February 2026, following a road traffic accident. A treasured son to Christina and Darren, a wonderful brother to Kayleigh, Amarah, Keiran, Aniyah and Adriana, a much-loved grandson, nephew, uncle and cousin, a dearly loved relative, and a good friend to many. Very sadly, on Saturday 21st February 2026, as the result of a road traffic accident, David Allan MacKay, aged 44 years, of Caledonian Road, Corpach, Fort William (formerly of Caol). A beloved husband to Leeanne, a treasured dad to Dane, a caring step-dad to Finlay and Faolan, a loving son of the late Sandy and Mhairi, a cherished brother to Helen, a much-loved uncle, nephew and cousin, a dearly loved relative, and a good friend to many. A proud Highlander, forever in our hearts.

Sadly, in the excellent care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Monday 2nd March 2026, Dorothy Ann Adams (Dot), aged 63 years, Glen Cottages, Glenahulish. A cherished sister to Martin and Fred, a much loved and loving relative to and a dear friend. Now at peace.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, in the care of Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Sunday 22nd February 2026, Stella Marjorie Suzanne Colburn, aged 76 years, Treslaig, by Fort William (former long serving employee with DE Shoes, High Street, Fort William). A loving and devoted wife to Nigel, a cherished sister to Wendy, a caring sister-in-law to Tony, a much loved cousin to Elaine, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and friend. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, at home, on Sunday 15th February 2026, Mairi Theresa Laskey, aged 56 years, Blar Mhor, Fort William. A cherished mum to Leann, Sean and Ryan, a loving granny to Seonaidh, Leilah-Rose, Cailean, Caiden and Cole, a precious daughter of the late Margaret and Roddy, a much loved sister and auntie, a dearly loved relative and friend.
