Peacefully, in the care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday 19th November 2025, Sheena Edith Kean, aged 72 years, Pier Cottage, Isle of Eigg. A loving wife to Bean, a treasured Mum to Terry, Paul, Stuart, Grace and the late Alexander, a wonderful Granny to Callum, Owain, Theo, Archie, Heather, Ross, Mark, and Kadin, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and friend. She lived her last 36 years on the island she called home, surrounded by community and calm — her spirit will remain there always.

It is with great sadness and broken hearts, we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Craig Alexander Macleod, on Saturday 8th November 2025, aged 20 years, Albert Road, Ballachulish (Apprentice Electrician with Highland Council). A treasured son to Joanne and Seymour and step-son to Kristen, a wonderful brother to Morvern and step-brother to Sienna, a loving partner to Mirren, a caring grandson to Margaret and the late Dr. Roddy, held especially close by Andrew, his sister’s partner – a friendship as strong as that of brothers, a dearly loved nephew, cousin and relative and a truly loved friend to many. In our hearts you will stay, loved and remembered every day.

Sadly, but peacefully, in the compassionate care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Tuesday 12th November 2025, aged 85 years, Forrest Lodge, Glenloy (retired Train Driver). A beloved husband to Judith, a much loved uncle, a dearly loved relative, neighbour and friend. He guided countless journeys, and now he takes his own—into peaceful rest.

Peacefully passed away with her family by her side and in the loving care of Abbeyfield, Ballachulish, on Saturday 8th November 2025, Margaret Ann Rae (née MacDonald), aged 88 years, Park Road, Ballachulish. Beloved wife of the late Joe, a treasured mum to Kirsteen, a wonderful granny to Zander and Joss, a much loved aunt, great aunt, mother in law, sister in law, and a very dearly loved relative, neighbour and friend to many. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Peacefully, in the care of the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Thursday 6th November 2025, Jean Frances Margaret Macleod (Jeannie), aged 89 years. The dearly loved wife of the late Donald, Jeannie was a loving mum to Kirsty and Neil, and a kind and supportive mother-in-law to Lucy. She was a cherished granny to Rory, Oscar and Matilda. A much loved sister to Lizzie Ann, and a treasured aunt and great aunt. Jeannie was also a devoted neighbour and a true friend to many. Her kindness reached far beyond her immediate family, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was deeply loved, and her memory will live on.

Peacefully, at Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Friday 7th November 2025, Crawford Duncan Cameron, aged 76 years, Torr na Faire, Lochaline. A loving partner to the late Alda Grace, a much loved step-dad to Kathleen, Michael and Faith, a wonderful granda to Lucy, Leanne, Sean, Emma, Hannah, Daniel and Caitlin, a proud great granda to all his grandchildren, a dear brother to Morven, Stanley, David and the late Donald, heather and Colin, a dearly loved uncle, relative and a good friend to many. Sadly missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly at home, on Sunday 2nd November 2025, John Barrie, aged 68 years, Riverside Park, Lochyside, Fort William. A loving husband to Kathleen, a treasured dad to Liam, a cherished son to Marion, a caring brother of the late Betty, a dear brother in law to Mary and Jennifer, a much loved uncle, relative and a friend. Forever loved and remembered.

A beloved husband to Joyce, a loving dad to James, Martin and David, a much loved step-dad to Alison, Rae and John, a caring father-in-law to Elizabeth, Nikki, Ian and Carol, a wonderful grandfather and great grandfather to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren, a dearly loved uncle, relative and a good friend to many. A loving partner to Cathie, much loved dad to Catherine and Alec, a wonderful grandad to Katie, Jack and Callum and great grandad to Ryleigh, Jackson, Zander and Malia, a caring brother to Eric and Cathy and brother in law to Phil and Ann, a dearly loved uncle, relative and a good friend to many. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, at his home in Staffordshire, England, Scott Gillies, aged 52 Years, formally of Mallaig. A beloved son of Alistair and Ann, a much loved brother to Kevin, Ross and the late Graeme and brother-in-law to Sarah and Asha, a caring uncle to Cameron, Sandy, Rory and Lauren, a dearly loved relative and a good friend to so many.
