Sadly, but peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday 22nd May 2026, John Dougald Cameron Kennedy, aged 80 years, Glen Nevis, Fort William. A beloved husband to Ruth, a loving dad to Frank, Cameron, John and Aileen, a treasured grandad to John, Jake, Cameron, Ryan, Josh, Lauren and Kirsty, a proud great grandad to Zander, a dear brother of May and the late Ernie, a much loved relative and a loyal friend to many. He has laid down the working tools of life and travelled to the Grand Lodge Above.

Peacefully, at home in Lincoln, on Tuesday 19th May 2026, Patricia Hunter (Pat), aged 83 years, formerly of Caol, Fort William. A loving wife to Easton, a treasured mum to Joanne, Neil, Keeley and Adrian, a wonderful granny to Graeme, Katie, Sean, Harry, Anya and Ewan, a proud GG Pat to all her great grandchildren, a dearly loved mother-in-law, auntie and friend. Always loved and remembered.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Aonghas Grant, at home and surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, 15th May 2026, aged 94 years, Castle Drive, Lochyside, Fort William. A devoted husband to the late Moira, a loving dad to Deidre, Fiona, and the late Angus, and a dear father-in-law to Bruce. A wonderful granda to Eva, a much-loved relative, and friend to so many. Rest in Peace. Aonghas was the well-known left-handed fiddler throughout Lochaber and beyond. He will be remembered for his love of teaching over many years, his storytelling, and his passion for Gaelic culture. His pupils who received that iconic red tassel will surely cherish it forever. To all who knew him, he will be sorely missed, yet forever remembered as a true Highland gentleman.

Peacefully, in the care of CAU – Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Thursday 14th May 2026, Charlotte Cox, aged 83 years, Corpach, Fort William. A beloved wife to Gavin, a treasured mum to Tracey and mother-in-law to Billy, a wonderful granny to Ryan, Rachel and Rhea, a proud GG to Tiernan, a much loved, sister, auntie and a good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.

A devoted husband to Shona, a caring brother to Andrew, a dear brother-in-law, a much loved relative and a good friend to many. Sadly Missed.

Suddenly at home, on Saturday 16th May 2026, Kieran Maclean-Stewart, aged 31 years, Spean Crescent, Spean Bridge (The Face of Aldi’s). A devoted to husband Georgia, a loving dad to Lachlan, Leon and Zara, a much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, a dearly loved relative and a good friend to many.

Sadly, but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the Belford Hospital, Fort William, on Monday 4th May 2026, William Boa, aged 90 years, Fern Cottage, Spean Bridge (formerly of Young Place, Plantation, Fort William), remembered fondly with years of service as a HGV Driver with BP. A devoted husband to the late Isobel, a loving dad to William, and the late Marie and Ann and father-in-law to Yvonne, a wonderful papa to Kim and her husband Ewen and their children Lewis and Molly, he was also a devoted step-papa to Sam and his children, who held a special place in his heart, a dearly loved relative and friend and a guardian to his loyal dog, Jude. So greatly loved and missed.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, on Sunday 26th April 2026, Ebony Morrice (Ebs), aged 17 years, Badabrie, Banavie, Fort William. A treasured daughter to Melanie and Ally, a special sister to Anya, a wonderful granddaughter to Danny and Caroline Conlon and Isobel and the late Alister Morrice, a much loved relative and a very good friend to many. Loved beyond words, missed beyond measure.

Olga passed away peacefully at Mecwacare Wahroonga Care Facility on Saturday 21st March 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with dementia and post-polio syndrome. She was 76 years old. A devoted wife to Jimmy, a much loved mum to Jamie and Sarah, and a proud nana to Ava, Layla, Isla, Lily and Ruby. A dear mother-in-law to Jessica and Darroch.
